The A321XLR (Extra Long Range) has a cruising range of 4,700 nautical miles (about 8,704 km) thanks to the addition of fuel tanks. It is the world's longest among the single-aisle aircraft. The maximum takeoff weight (MTOW) is 101 tons. The manufacturer's standard seating capacity is 180-220 seats in two classes, and a maximum of 244 seats can be configured in one class. The fuel efficiency per seat will be improved by 30% compared to the previous generation aircraft. The company has received orders for more than 450 aircraft from 24 customers so far, with deliveries scheduled to begin in 2023.
