<Certification in non-destructive testing for the aviation industry>
In order to be certified as a non-destructive inspector in the aircraft industry, one must receive class room education plus practical training.
Any training institution must be accredited by the government. In fiscal year 2017, the Aviation Industry Non-Destructive Testing Training Center (located in the Hyogo Prefectural Industrial Technology Center) was established as a training institution that complies with the international certification standard (NAS410).
Practical training is available at HSK Co. Ltd. in Aichi Prefecture, Aeroedge Corporation in Tochigi Prefecture, and JASPA Corporation in Niigata Prefecture.
